Your answers to life's challenges are waiting for you
What is BLBH?

Curaçao

Curaçao is the “C” in the ABC Dutch Caribbean islands. The island capital is called Willemstad and in 1997 earned the UNESCO hallmark of World Heritage City with four historic districts: Punda, Otrobanda, Pietermaai and Scharloo, bounded by Sint Anna Bay and Waaigat Canal. The capital is a fascinating Dutch Caribbean town to explore, with a friendly and unique atmosphere. The creole language spoken on the island is Papiamentu.

Bible Society in the Dutch Caribbean

The Bible Society in the Dutch Caribbean is located at Gaitoweg 3 in Curaçao. It’s a Christian non-profit organisation that is dedicated to the Holy Scripture to every person in a language and form each can readily understand and at an affordable price or free of charge. We urge all Christians and all Churches to support this cause with prayers and donations. The BSDC is responsible for the 6 islands in the Dutch Caribbean: Curaçao, Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Saba and Statia.

Beibel Koriente

Beibel Koriente means Actual Bible. The Papiamentu Bible was published in 1997 as there was and still is a great need for material in this Creole language will help the people engage better with the Bible. At this time, it has established itself as the Bible of preference for the majority of Papiamentu-speaking churches in their liturgy, Bible use programs and evangelization. The translation took place over a period of 12 years. In 2014 we concluded the translation and revision of notes.

Beibel di Estudio

This Study Bible is aimed at promoting and facilitating Scripture engagement. The challenge of meaningful Scripture engagement and the Bible needs of the community will be better served by the development of a Study Edition of the Bible, incorporating the revised text. The notes will be designed to promote a fuller understanding of the Bible, to encourage a deeper spirituality, to achieve a more effective evangelization, and to lead to transformation in our society.

Beibel di Prenchi

In this thick reading and viewing book, you read stories with the help of short texts and large, clear illustrations with many details. The texts and illustrations together tell how people lived in the time of the Bible. And what God did in people’s lives. The new edition offers children and parents the opportunity to get a broad picture of the Bible stories from the Old and New Testament.
